CAFE PARTNERS: Funnybone Coffee

Introducing our newest partner, Funnybone Coffee from the legends that brought you Good Day Coffee. We've known Deejay for a long while now and we were stoked to hear he was bringing his passion up north. For this weeks cafe partner feature we shine a light on the man behind these epic businesses.
Coffee Sign At Funnybone Coffee
 Firstly, what’s your go-to coffee?
Usually a Good old Filter coffee, but i don’t mind treating myself with a double flat white occasionally.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and how the cafe came to be?

I grew up on the Gold Coast and accidentally sat next to nick in a cafe one day, we got talking and I ended up managing some of his cafes. I thought I knew a lot about coffee until I worked for Blackboard.

Why did you choose Blackboard Coffee?
Well I may be a little bias as Nick is probably one of, if not my closest mate, but I have seen the way things are done at Blackboard from start to finish. When you get to see the transparency and hear the stories about the coffee and farms he’s visited, there is simply no other option for me.
What are your passions outside of coffee?

Anything on the water, Hanging with my Partner Kristen and Dog Asy.

If someone were to head up your end, what are the hidden gems around your area?

Mount Tamborine is only a short drive, Some great Golf Courses & of course Theme Parks.

Lastly, If you could invite one person for a coffee who would it be and why?

Apart from Kristen, Probably Guy Ritchie, Think Yiddish dress British.

Thanks @funnybonecoffee
