Good kettle let down by obvious flaws

Works as advertised and is good and convenient way to set and hold specific temperature. The kettle is let down by some obvious flaws that shouldn't exist for something that's priced and pitched at the more premium end of the market.

1 - if you pitch the kettle too steeply, water will start dripping out of the lid. The fact it took Fellow to realise this after "research" and advertise newer models with a simple silicon o-ring and call it innovative is absurd.

2 - thermocouple / temperature sensor goes haywire if the water is even **slightly** above the fill line and you choose to boil up to 100c. This causes the kettle to spit and bubble hot water on itself and on the platform which is a serious safety issue. It appears there's no safety cutoff to prevent "over boiling" in this instance. This may be a result of boiling standard tap water which in our case is hard to very hard water.
