CAFE PARTNERS: Wavy Bone

Wavy Bone Caravan

We’re dedicated to delivering good coffee to good people both locally and globally. This week we interviewed the brothers behind Wavy Bone, the caravan cafe coming to a curbside or event near you.

Firstly, what’s your go-to coffee?
Espresso with a side of sparkling water/filter.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and how the caravan cafe came to be?

We are two Eastern European lads, Mike & Darvin, and we love bringing culture and style to the Australian coffee industry. Having the love for coffee at a young age we had the desire to open our own coffee business. We decided to start off small and develop our brand and business from the Caravan. We are now open from 6 am till 2 pm but are mostly booked for events.

Why did you choose blackboard coffee?

We feel a positive environment is very important to be surrounded by and  Blackboard is the perfect example of that. We have been blackboard customers for a while now and have loved all their brews and specialty blends so it was clear why we wanted to partner with them.

What is the best part about owning & operating a caravan cafe?

We love to create an experience to all our customer's whether that be part of the service or making them the perfect cup of coffee, the caravan has allowed us to bring that feeling wherever we go. Travelling has also played a positive part in the business, we have met some amazing people along the way.

What are your passions outside of coffee?
Mike: Exploring the outdoors, getting into the ocean and surfing, football, trying new foods and hanging with family and friends.
Darvin: Football, cycling, cooking, travelling, cheeky Sunday seshes with the boys.
Lastly, If you could invite one person for a coffee who would it be and why?
Mike: Joe Rogan - Because he’s a man with a lot of knowledge about life, fitness, happiness, gratefulness, success and an all-round cool dude.
Darvin: Jon Olsson - Would love to gain the knowledge and understanding of how he first developed his business. Sees himself as a big family man, with the love for cars, properties, a healthy lifestyle and positivity.
