High in Halo Beriti, Gedeo, at 2200 – 2300m, heirloom cherries reach the mill by midday. Washed in cool spring water and dried slowly under soft sun, the cup greets with lychee freshness, glides through ripe peach nectar, then settles on a silky dark‑chocolate finish.

Each month, our roaster selects a standout coffee for espresso brewing. One that’s captured their attention for its exceptional quality and unique flavour profile. These coffees embody everything we love about specialty coffee, highlighting the care and craft behind every bean.

Meet the Producer behind this Coffee

Halo Beriti sits in the southern part of Ethiopia, in Yirgacheffe. The coffee comes from heirloom varietals that are known for bright fruit and gentle florals, which is why people love coffees from this area.

The name comes from the place itself. It is home to Gedeo farmers who have been working this land for generations, growing coffee alongside food crops on small mixed farms.

About the Coffee Processing Method

This coffee is fully washed. After pulping, the coffee undergoes an immersion fermentation in water for 48 hours to remove the mucilage. It is then dried on raised beds.
